Macduff Ship Design Ltd has accumulated a wealth of experience in the marine design sector. We can provide a comprehensive design package to suit the client’s specific requirements, whether it is a small workboat or fishing vessel, a large tug, or any of our other bespoke designs.
As a company we pride ourselves in being able to tackle all jobs no matter how large or small. This can range from full design packages, to stability work, to Class approved drawing packages, through to retro fit modifications and project management.
We use the latest CAD and modelling software to enable optimisation in design and an efficient and professional service, striving to be forward-thinking in our design process. We have also undertaken investigative work where existing vessels have experienced problems with sea keeping, handling or directional stability. We have established reasons for the problems and put forward recommendations for improvements.
